There are tons of layers here...

I just finished watching the first four episodes of Full Metal Panic...ummm I thought this show was not supposed to suck?

• The show seems to not know what kind of show it wants to be: is it a teen romance or mecha? Some shows manage to combine elements for an awesome balance but FMP is not at the moment.
• The main guy is sort of a dunce. He looks too much like Heero Yuy for me--and I love Gundam Wing. He is supposed to be some badass sergeant, but he makes ridiculous mistakes. Maybe I just need to watch more than 4 episodes for the real action to pick up.

I am going to look into it some more, but right now I think I am just going to toss it aside and watch Claymore or something.

So I have managed to be really lax when it comes to this journal. That is going to change real soon for multiple reasons:

• The Summer TV schedule is starting. I really should title this USA is being awesome again. Psych, Monk, Burn Notice kind of own my soul at the moment. I am not heavily involved in the fandoms for these, but I do plan on jumping in with discussions and reading fic for Psych and Burn Notice soon. I have never read any fic for Monk, but I am willing to give it a shot. Army Wives is also back, and I just saw the season opener and I started to cry. I would not usually be into that show, but for some reason I just really enjoy it.
  
• I am getting back into anime again. -- I really fell off for a bit; but I am ready to get back into finding some new shows and catching up with some old favorites.
  
• Book reviews-- I actually have been reading, but I am failing at posting reviews.
• SYTYCD is back and I am loving it.
  
• Project Runway is starting up later this summer.
• ABDC is up and running, so I will probably be discussing that on the comm (if there are any)

My laptop is being insane lately. So I will not be able to be as active as I would like at the moment. Coupled with RL issues of employment and schooling, I will definitely be on a semi-hiatus for a while.

I will probably never be as active on this journal as I am on my bandom one; but I am going to keep this one up.

I am not keeping up at all with this journal. I seriously need to adjust some of the method to this madness. My bandom journal is thriving because that is what I am so into right now. I still need to post the book reviews---so much fail.

Lately my eyes have not want to even see a computer screen---this bodes oh so well for me going back to school.

• I am pretty sure my parents are trying to freeze me out of the house. I am wearing a complete jacket and sweatpants inside--that should never be necessary.
• I just finished watching Reaper and all I have to say is 'Do you really have a cat? Or are we talking dragon?' I have tons of love for this show, and I really hope CW does not go more stupid and cancel in favor of shows like Farmer Needs a Wife.
• Finished watching How I Met Your Mother Monday Night, and Ted really needs to forgive Barney because the four of them are just way boring without Neil Patrick around. It is so odd seeing Elliott from Scrubs on HIMYM playing a doctor.
• Books I have read and loved-- The Book of Lost Things, Case Histories, A History of Love.

I will post a review of each of these books later this week...well for at least one.

This is my third post discussing what kind of journal this is. I feel lame about that. Whatever, allow me to continue.



I just joined like 5 comms....I am on an lj roll!

I am actually tired now and it is before 12 am my time. LJ requires dedication.

I am trying to think why would I want to separate my fandoms. Everything fic-wise is going to be referenced in my other journal. That is what I am going to post about over there. In this one I am going to post random thoughts and some stuff I may be writing. I plan to join other groups that I don't encounter through fannish activity in this journal.  Call this journal a hodgepodge of eclectic leanings.

Hello everybody!

This is my second journal endeavor. I have another one which features majority of my bandom content ( I know that word covers more than decaydance and co, but it is better having one word instead of like a list of bands).  In that journal I make lists of recs featuring fic that I love. Majority of that fic features rpf featuring individuals from bands. I am also a fan of the music, so I enjoy meeting other fans and discussing the music too.

I am also a really big fan of different television shows and movies and books too. Most of this journal will talk about books, movies, television shows, and music that I love.

Last but not least, I extremely enjoy anime, and I plan to talk about that sometimes.  ( I should just change that word to quite often.)
